The code immediately orders aircraft to RTB as soon as they have expended their wing or bomb bay stores. Many still have a gun, and a 20 MIKE MIKE or 30 MIKE MIKE gun can still inflict serious damage on other aircraft or surface ships, especially smaller ones. Just try sneaking up on the tail of a BEAR-D if you don’t believe that! Aircraft shouldn’t automatically go RTB until the last bullet is gone, and even then, the bad guy doesn’t know you are WINCHESTER, and they can still be intimidating, or “gasp” used to draw fire on purpose to relieve another unit from attack.
