ℹ️ Broken Drones/Logistics or Supply/Demand UI
Fixed with v1.613. Please have Steam update your game.


The latest few game updates brought out a couple of logistics related game bugs, two/three of which you can fix yourself.

1. Pocketed Rover

If you have a rover in your pocket or some other container, which rover has supply or demand enabled in its inventory, place it, clear the supply and/or demand settings, save, then reload.

2. Procedural Wreck ID reuse

Procedural wreck contents, for some reason, don't go away if you close portals and items identifiers spawned in there may get reused. The game then forcefully breaks the link between the items and their inventory.

To fix it, open your save, the latest modified JSON file in the folder %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\MijuGames\Planet Crafter\ that is not backup.json, find the very last section encompassed by @ symbols and clear everything between them:

3. Vault with logistics in a Procedural wreck

If you have a portal open or visited one of the regular procedural wrecks, you may have enabled supply/demand on a Vault container. If you remember where, go back and remove the supply/demand settings, save and reload.

If you don't remember, unfortunately debug tools are needed to identify which of them it is. You can try your luck and post your save on the official Discord[discord.gg] but please note the people capable of helping you might be asleep.

4. Departure Platform or arbitrary broken inventory

If you have set a demand or supply on a Departure Platform, the game doesn't properly handle them and results in the titular problem with drones. Find your Departure Platform(s) and clear their supply/demand settings:

Open your save, the latest modified JSON file in the folder %USERPROFILE%\AppData\LocalLow\MijuGames\Planet Crafter\ that is not backup.json

  • Find every line that says "gId":"DeparturePlatform"
  • Make a note of the number after it: "liId":<number>
  • Find the line that says "id":<number>
  • Locate the "demandGrps":"<text>"
  • Remove the <text> part so that what only remains is two double quotes.
  • Save & reload

Otherwise, unfortunately debug tools are needed to identify what item is the culprit. You can try your luck and post your save on the official Discord[discord.gg] but please note the people capable of helping you might be asleep.
