[Solved] Can't continue?

I have unlocked and read all fragments but I can't go anywhere? The chapter select is only available for Matsuribayashi 1-7 and then the "connecting fragments" thing but nothing is happening?? How do I actually see the story? I'm playing with the patch.. if that makes any difference. I'm super sad right now.

You might just be misunderstanding something. What's the last Fragment you saw?

The one with Akasaka where he ~believes~ and they ask him to help. :(

There was a clue about this situation very recently. Do you recall anything about something being too scary to look at yet? Or alternatively, do any of the Fragments look different from the rest right now?

Hm.. well the #50 one that always breaks after you read it is broken, but all the others are just blue. I read them in the order you would need for the secret ending because it seemed the easiest so I definitely have all of them unlocked... But nothing about anything being too scary to look at, no.

Oh my god, I'm so sorry. I think I just needed to click the broken fragment again...... why didn't I think of that. x_x

Ah, you forgot. Initially, in the Fragment of Matsuribayashi, the narrator said that, "Until I get ahold of [a piece that's powerful enough to defeat Rule Y], it's too scary to take a peek inside this Fragment." The part about Akasaka that you see immediately afterward is that piece.

It also helps if you make at least one mistake so you can observe that if you try to view a Fragment too early, it cracks, and that you can still view it when the time is right. (The Fragment of Matsuribayashi cracks even though you technically view it at an appropriate time, but it's still "too early" in terms of the story.) I guess that's a drawback to using a guide instead of trying to figure it out yourself.

It really is! But it made it easier to read it all in one go without being completely thrown all over the place.
Thank you for trying to help!! Can't wait to finally get to the bottom of all this.
