Help cant login to game
says to check my udp port for restrictions

I'm having the same issue. I was able to play fine before, but since re-installing to check out the new patch, I can't connect and it always tells me to check a different port.

If you are using Windows Defender try this :

Right click on WIN Symbol, there Run
Type wf.msc

This opens the defender

Now click on Inbound Rules and there on the right side under Action : New Rule

Now a new window pops up, here activate PROGRAM and than click Next

Another Window pops up

Here make the link to PZ.exe and PopulationZero from Folder 1.0.4

Edit: Make sure that you repeat this also for the OUTBOUND -Rule

Anf restart the PC

This did work for a buddy of me.

Thanks Musashi! Can confirm this did work after a restart. Make sure you set both inbound and outbound rules for both PZ.exe and PopulationZero inside the 1.0.4 folder, then reboot and it should work.

uuuuuuum, i'm confused.... i just switched to pc last month. i get through everything until "here make the link to pz.exe and population zero from folder 1.0.4)
maybe dumb that down a little

Did make some Screenshots... but it´s German...should not be a big Problem as the layout should be the same

1. Window after wf.msc
http://prntscr.com/sti1c1 ---> Click on Inbound Rules

2. New rule

3.Activate Program
http://prntscr.com/sti4gi ----->Click Next

4.Inbound PZ.Exe

Path should be there :

5.Next window

6. Next Window

7. Finish

Now do the same for PopulationZero.exe
The screenshot shows the Path to version 1.0.4 , if later a higher Version is out take this version!
