But in any case I don't think this game has complex English that would benefit from translation. I guess it's not that easy if all the text is moddable. You'll also need Cyrillic fonts.
A lot of the time its probably going to say Prince Alice Agrees or Bob the wife of Prince Alice agreeing in the more dynamic text but the rest of the time "You conquered Sigma Draconis" or "A trader offers to sell an artifact" will be working properly for you
(Yes my mod works will need to be manually fixed separately. I'm not even confident it will accept the fixes where I have just added an extra option)
the biggest problem is I don't understand either the german being replaced or the ukrainian
that was a big surprise.
I can save cyrillic in the "german" file (because windows has the font) but the game didn't display it .... its easy to see where translation "worked" because its [] [] [] []
when I open it in "office" as spreadsheet it seems ok eg „Вважається, що успішність інтерфейсу становить 85%. Це ваше рішення.“
when the game loads the file, the translated (not german) parts are [][][]
aleksei helped confirm this and a potential solution. unfortunately the solution requires changing a core code file so the publisher would have to do as a "patch"
sadly no other language has responded offering to help with their versions ... several other languages probably have same font issue ... turkish because of Ş and polish because of Ą
