To someone who spent last 14 years and +10000 hours playing shooters without it? Yes. Might as well be using my left arm.
i mean i use a control, maybe you cange settings to toggle not hold, but hey maybe you just suck?
Key word "toggle"
check the game options to see if there is an ability to remove the auto aim, it might mean changing a few other gameplay settings to get it disabled though.
1. There is no "Aim-down-sights" in Horizon, because the weapons don't have sights.
2. The "extra zoom-in while aiming + slow down time" is, in fact, a toggle, called "Focus mode"
And in this game releasing the aim button has GOT to be faster than hitting a button to release the bow? If you have to cancel a shot to dodge an incoming attack the last thing I want to be doing is pressing a toggle instead of my dodge button.

------------------------------
Install AutoHotKey, make a file with .ahk extension with something like this:
#SingleInstance Force
#IfWinActive, ahk_exe HorizonZeroDawn.exe
RButton::
if (toggle:=!toggle)
click, down, right
else
click, up, right
return
#IfWinActive
and run it

Setting up the autohotkey stuff is really no big deal - I got it all working in like 5 mins. ;-)
