It took me five minutes to write all of that and your "no" came through less than five seconds after I posted it. Thanks for the answer. But I'm going to go to bed and sob like a child now. 😭😓💀
The fast forward save made the least progress in terms of time because it is both stressful and boring to just jump from season to season without really arriving in the moment and always being busy with seasonal activities.
I'm still playing the village at the new location today (currently generation 5) and I also visit the old alternative village regularly.
TLDR The easiest way to reach the heir is to enjoy the game and find tasks that you enjoy doing. Completing all the crest tasks could be one such task.
5th generation?
I don't think I've ever gotten past 2nd generation... I always start new games to try different things. That's impressive (honestly, not sarcasm).
Thank you!
I also have lots of smaller savegames, but the big village remains the most important one. The families there are close to my heart. The descendants of one Coop player still live in their ancestral home (the descendants of the other died in a family tragedy), the blacksmith families have lived in the same houses for generations, each district has its own character and its own heraldic animal, and each of my generations lives in a different house, experiencing the village from a different perspective.
