B16 weirdness

I jump to first platform and I hit turn back. I see the snail tuırn back but but somehow it automatically turns forward

Hello Deccoyi,

From what I can see in the video the game didn't even register your turn back input, as Shelly didn't even turn away at any point.
So I'd say it's probably a matter of timing. Keep trying, you'll get there! I believe in you. :D

It looks like it is back. but only 2 frames in the video. I dont know if it is becase I release the controller stick fast and it whips back to send a "right" signal :)

Oh yes, I actually saw it. Thanks for pointing that out.
Did you manage to beat the level? :P

I think it could be exactly that, yes, releasing the stick too fast or "strongly", causing the game to think you inputted the other direction.
