But I agree with you (if you are talking about Norway Eelpout and getting trophy)
I had to catch 820x Eelpouts now to get at trophy and complete that achievement..
One of our club members had to catch more than 1 000x ...
These two eelpout achievements was the most boring and frustrating thing I did in thousand of hours in this game, and many players feel the same.
My secret guess is that Wolf secretly lowered the chance of eelpout trophy when he lowered the requirements for completing achievment from 5 trophies to 1, because people used to get these trophies without too much problem and now its a nightmare for pretty much everyone I talked to.
I cannot even imagine how crazy it would be to catch 5 Eelpouts trophies for that achievment..
Yes, I'm talking about this serious fish anyway.
you're lucky, not us
It's simple, as soon as we catch a lot of fish on a map you change everything, too bad for us players
I'm telling you what really is. To believe me or to collect rumors is already your right. But you can hardly find a more informed person on the game than me.
So you can't connect these two facts together in any way? Of course, as soon as there is a bias and many people start catching the same fish, its population decreases. This is called "exhaustion" This mechanics has been working for at least five years. But these are the subtleties that experienced players know, but beginners don't. After all, it's much better to complain that the fish are no longer caught, the bad developer cut everything out.
The big bad Woolf strikes again, according to some.
I was actually going to say that there likely is some mechanic in place to avoid "over-fishing" of species, just like in real life fishing.
This game simulates fishing, and various things are in place to make it behave "natural", to simulate real life fishing.
I prefer this over FP, which I call arcade fishing.
But hey, I see that you have a stake in the game like me, and you're the developer, so your opinion is useless to me.
I am not the developer and I have no idea where you got that from.
All I can say is that this discussion about "fish nerfs" comes up from time to time and Woolf has always said that nothing has truly changed.
Just like he said in this case. And there are always people who insist he did change something.
And then we go back to square 1.
