The news section of TF2 is where they also announce TF3.

the devs might release news here but they are releasing more news and TpF3 updates on the TpF3 forum and in the news section, they are also more active in the TpF3 forum and might very well answer this question if posted over there, as in the last few days they answered a question about system requirements. besides, the game is probably a year away from being released so episode 3 might not be coming for a bit.

The devs are showing something on Youtube. Saw two youtubes until now. Sam is the community manager (aka Colonel Failure, who made a lot of TF videos).

I've watched the previous two videos, and I must say, I hope CF at least got paid well, because those were the two most boring, least inspired videos I have watched in a very long time. Let him ad-lib his stuff, reading off a script is definitely not what CF is (was?) best known for. I hope this job is done and over, and he can now return to his (ir-)regular schedule.

Colonel Failure has been employed by Urban Games as community manager since February. that is his regular job.
