Mine writes and reads at 9.1GB/s its really awesome when you download updates in steam. When the download is complete the install is also.
Ive managed alot in the nvidia control panel like a minimum standard against all games and programs.
the changes:
DSR - Factors = 2.00x;2.25x DL
save energy = maximal perfomance
low latency = ultra
max frame rate = 100
max frame rate backround app = 60
This works well for my 5080 to lower the temps overall.
Aswell as fans settings in fancontrol for gpu.
I have only Lian li's fans and have set the max fans rpm to 1300rpm on all fans including the radiator ones for the cpu. (Lian Li Hydroshift LCD 360mm TL).
(7+3 cpufans)
My rig at load status are at max temps:
CPU: 75 degrees celcius
GPU: 60 degrees celcius
When not playing any games temps:
CPU: below 50 degrees celcius
GPU: 43 degress celcius (fan not running at all)
In the game I have Very high settings and have vsync off.
There's alot of mods regarding render distance if you want far or close depending on hardware.
I think I used this mod before (my old computer)

If u want bigger maps :D
thanks for those suggestions, I shall do some experimenting and see how I go.
I only have the gen4 m2. but those seem to be pretty good.
I have played with my fan settings using the Gigabyte tools, and I get 38c CPU and 31c GPU at idle. I haven't run them at full tilt yet, as I discovered that my new machine overloads my online UPS so I need to upgrade that now, but I have seen them up around the 50's for both of them.
I only have 60Hz monitors so have sync'd to that at the moment. I might look at the 144's in the future, but I must admit this machine is such a huge improvement over my 6 year old potato that I can afford to wait on that.
I have the Lian Li fans as well. Do you use the Gigabyte tools for those or some other utility? I setup custom fan control, based on the "silent" profile but ramping up to max a little earlier. this seemed to work well on my old computer and so will see how it goes here.
Cheers,
Chris.
P.S. Can't wait for TpF3. Hoping I get a slot in the beta testing program.... :-)
