Game crashes on launch
Immediately after the company logo, I get a "Some issue with Steam API. Highscores downloaded: True" window, followed by a fatal exception window, then the game terminates. This is under Windows 7 x64.

Anyone else run into this issue and solved it?

Idly, I did "solve" it, in that it works under Windows 10 and so I could play this on my laptop if I wanted. It seems to not have any solution less drastic than "install a new operating system," though.

I'm on Windows 10 and I get the same "Some issue with Steam API" error. A shame since I wanted to play this game again after not touching it for what feels like forever.
