Now RPG Developer Bakin natively supports Vroid studio VRM format, so there is a 3D character maker available for free that you can use and it works very nice and easily!

Nice! now we just need a 2.5D character maker and it will be awesome!

I also hope a lot for that, if they create a character generator (3D), it will surpass RPG Maker many times over.
And also more monsters and especially animals (all in 3D), as there is no DLC pack with animals.

VROID is nice, however the outfit styles are not always what I want (sold by various content creators) and requires signing up and spending money at another place. I for one trust Bakin and me purchasing DLC for them is pretty easy.

True but, it's also not too difficult to create your own outfits with their tools.

Vroid is a great option, but what about 3D monsters, bosses, and animals?
There is only one DLC with 14 monsters (3D), which are cool, but it's little. It needs more variety to create a game. The same goes for animals, such as dogs, cats, farm animals, wild animals, etc. All of this is needed. Even more so considering using characters made on Vroid, which are anime style, you can't get any asset on the internet that doesn't fit the style.

I'm inclined to agree that this is a glaring omission to this software. The time spent incorporating VRM support would have been better spent making a half-decent character creator (VRM's are a PITA to work with and seem to be mostly Anime girls), or at the very least by incorporating an auto-rigger for imported character models in OBJ or FBX format.. yeah I know there's Mixamo but it doesn't work with Bakins built-in motions.

True but, it's also not too difficult to create your own outfits with their tools.

For an artist. I am a writer and dev. I should look up how to create hair styles, clothes, and the like in the meantime. if you have any guides I would be grateful.

I do not have any good guides for creating clothing for Vroid models. I think there should be some out there that give a rundown. I would assume you have two options. Paint on the UV textures in the Vroid programs that they have. Or Import the Vroid model into Blender and do the same there but, with the option to create custom pieces.

In that case you should rely on yourself grab an IDE and develop a game maker. Yet we are all here purchasing software to meet our game creation needs. Another software which would aid in that is the character maker which was requested.

A regular Type-A Chibbi character maker already exists from the developers of Bakin, it's just in Smile Game Builder. Create the character in that, export it to a folder onto your desktop and then import it into Bakin, simple. ONLY issue really is you'll need to buy SGB to use it, and it's not natively built into Bakin.
The developers probably figured that there was no need for a character maker in bakin when there's one in SGB and a crap ton of character makers all over the net that'll import into Bakin. Some are REAL pricey though unfortunately or have been abandoned and no longer have updates.
A decent 2.5D charactermaker with it's own style is...
