1. open resources, find "slice animation" under "2D stamps" then browse the "local files" tab until you find the sprite sheet you want to import
2. with the "file import" window open and your sprite on screen, for a default RPG Maker sprite you should change the Resource X slices to 3 and Resource Y slices to 4, then "X Pixel" and "Y Pixel" should both say 48.
3. the direction order should be set to "Down, Left, Right, Up" and then hit "ok", you should be able to find your sprite under "Reserved"
i tried settings like X resource 2 and Y resource 4 and Pixel X to 68 and Pixel Y to 48 but same result, did i do something wrong?
there should be a blue outline around each cell when you change the slice X and slice Y settings, if stuff is getting cut off then you need to increase or decrease the slice X and slice Y values until each cell is within the outline
e.g. for a sprite sheet that is three cells across and 2 cells down, I would input "Slice X = 3", "slice Y = 2"
if you still have a problem after this then you may need to remove any unnecessary space around the sprite sheet because the sprite tool divides the cells based on the size of the whole image
